Lockdown on Campus: Lessons Learned from Ferrum College - Webinar Series by e2Campus

In February of 2008, a worker at Ferrum College spotted a man with a gun who then disappeared. The school immediately issued a lockdown using their emergency notification system. As police searched for the individual, the school sent multiple alerts throughout the day to ease the tensions of students, faculty and staff. In this free 45-minute webinar, learn:

  • What happened and how it unfolded
  • How they handled the situation
  • What students had to say about the day-long ordeal
  • What they would do differently
